This was included as one of the videos I made for my dad on Father's Day 2005. It celebrates following in my dad and grandfather's footsteps.
Taking an adventure and growing and life and all that. My dad was in the Navy in Vietnam. My grandfather was in the Navy at the battle of Midway during WWII. I was in the Marines in the '90s and was able to be a part of a Marine Expeditionary Unit, traveling on a Navy ship for 6 months. We trained with foreign militaries and traveled to many countries, mostly in Asia and the Middle East. On the way back, my dad and brother were able to meet us in Hawaii and sail on board ship back to San Diego. When my dad was in the Navy, his father got to make the same trip with him from Hawaii on his ship.
